The Cystinosis Research Foundation family is working in a variety of amazing ways to support cystinosis research. As we move closer to the reality of a slow-release medicine for our children, we are united in our commitment to fund cystinosis researchers and scientists in our quest to find a cure. October 31, 2009- Kamloops, BC, Canada - Halloween Hair-Raiser Fund Raiser Costume Party to benefit Cystinosis Awareness & Research Effort, in honor of Gabbie Strauss.
October 24, 2009 - Madison, WI - Ruth Ann Ahnen ran the North Face Challenge 50k (30.8 mi) in honor of her daughter Katie Ahnen. She is aiming to raise $7,500 for cystinosis research.
October 16, 2009 - Sacramento, CA - Jenna and Patrick's Foundation of Hope presented the Swing & Bling Golf Tournament and Dinner.
October 3, 2009 - St. Clements, Ontario, Canada - Dance All Night Long at the St. Clements Community Centre, dance and auction, presented by Cystinosis Awareness & Research Effort, in honor of Gabbie Strauss.
September 15, 2009 - Petersburg, Ontario, Canada - Treat Yourself to a Fashion Show for Fall, presented by Cystinosis Awareness & Research Effort, in honor of Gabbie Strauss.

August 3-9, 2009 - Charlotte, NC - Hope for Holt Fundraiser at Andrew Blair's American Bistro and Wine Bar.
June 21, 2009 - Coeur d'Alene, ID - Ironman Triathlon - Sarah Neupert of Spokane, WA running in honor of Henry Sturgis, raised $4,300, and Matt D'Ambrosia raised $1,500 for CRF.
